| | | Annatto Seed Extract in Q-Gel. Why?
|  Per the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, the color additive annatto extract is an extract prepared from annatto seed.
Annatto extract may be safely used for coloring drugs generally, including those intended for use in the area of the eye, in amounts consistent with good manufacturing practice (GMP). NOTE: we are a GMP manufacturer.
We use annatto seed as a colorant. We color our Q-Gel CoQ10 soft gels for easy identification. The amount of Annatto Seed Extract used in each soft gel is negligible and quite safe.
